1.What security capilot do?
Security Copilot can provide speed and scale to security professionals so that human innovation is used where it matters most. In the blog post unveiling the new tool, Microsoft’s corporate VP for security, compliance, identity, and management made the following statement.
2.How the security teams move at the speed of AI?
A ChatGPT integration for configurable security controls for clusters has been released by an open source security supplier. In order to analyse security alerts generated by the solution and give users step-by-step remediation instructions to address data breaches, a cloud security company published its own ChatGPT extension.
3.Why human based approaches are low in security?
It is evident that manual, human-centric approaches to threat research are slow and unproductive, with the average breach lifecycle spanning 287 days and security teams spending 212 days to detect breaches and 75 days to contain them. But, Security Pilot’s role is to support analysts with prompt books, either provided by Microsoft or by the company itself, to give instructions on how to promptly address a security event.
Apart from the Microsoft models themselves, what sets us apart are our capabilities and integrations with all the other security products that our customers use. To be completely honest, we believe that beginning the learning process and collaborating with clients to strengthen and empower their teams will give us a significant first mover advantage. To be clear if tools like GPT-4 are a net-positive or negative for the threat landscape, however, will take some time, even though the defensive use cases of generative AI seem promising.
