1.WHAT IS GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP IN AI?
- The AI global partnership is “the fruit of ideas developed within the G7. This is a multi-stakeholder AI initiative aimed at bridging what is called the “gap between AI theory and practice” by supporting cutting-edge research.
- This initiative will foster international cooperation in the field of artificial technology by bringing together experts from academia, industry, civil society, governments, international organizations, academia and other disciplines on a single platform.
2.WHERE WERE THE FIRST TWO GPAI SUMMITS HELD?
Montreal (Canada) hosted the first edition on December 3rd and 4th, 2020, followed by Paris on November 11th and 12th, 2021. He also has two offices on the block, these he has in two cities, one in each location.
3.WHO ARE THE FOUNDING MEMBERS OF GPAI?
- GPAI’s founding members are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, Slovenia, United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union. GPAI’s G7 countries are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and US. Moreover, the EU is an “unlisted member” of his G7.
- In the council president election, India won more than two-thirds of the preferred votes, followed by Canada and the United States. However, the host city for the 2023 edition is unknown. In addition, the G20 summit will be held in New Delhi next September.
