What is Query Assistant?
Query Assistant is a new feature that uses generative AI to facilitate observability-based natural language querying. The business asserts that it is the only observability platform to offer this functionality, scaling its query power and improving usability for engineers of all experience levels.
Which is the thing that Query Assistant do?
Engineers can now get quick feedback on the performance and behaviour of their code without having a deep understanding of query-based programming languages like SQL thanks to the Query Assistant capability that has been developed using OpenAI models.
How it is work?
You may just ask for what you need in plain English, and the tool will perform the query and return the appropriate results. Query Assistant creates the first observability platform with a fully-executing natural language querying experience. Once the results have been generated, you can use the standard query builder to refine the query until you find what you’re looking for.
Any machine can analyse data and determine whether a spike occurred or not; however, only a person can determine whether the spike was good or bad, expected or not. They are therefore thrilled about the potential for AI to help expose those insights, enabling you to study how a power user interacts with the component of the system they know best and utilise that information to be a power user as well. We need a lot of feedback, so scientists want you to try it. Since Query Builder is complementary to it, you can still use it if you find that it can’t perform the task you require.
